Women in UK Construction, Engineering & Housing
Inspire Summit is an annual conference and exhibition that brings people working in the construction, engineering and housing sectors together to explore how we make the industries more diverse and inclusive. It’s an opportunity to be part of the change and drive solutions to help strengthen and future-proof the industries.
As well as looking at how we can attract and retain more women in the sectors, the conference addresses the skills shortage and how to encourage more young people to consider a career in construction, engineering and housing.
The day includes a busy schedule of engaging presentations, thought-provoking panel discussions, lively debates and hands-on activities for businesses and organisations, as well as sessions specifically targeted at students and apprentices.
Inspire Awards: Diversity in UK Construction, Engineering & Housing
No matter what our differences no one should be excluded from achieving their potential.
The purpose of The Inspire Awards is to help inspire a more diverse and inclusive culture in the Construction, Engineering & Housing sectors; their workforce, the services they provide and the buildings they produce by celebrating those who are leading the way.
We are the North
We rise to the challenge and tackle things head on.
Maybe we’re not so forward when it comes to shouting about our achievements, though – and it’s time we did!
The Northern Powerhouse [weren’t we always?] offers the northern regions
the opportunity to flex their muscles and define their own path.
Brexit, meanwhile, will change our nation’s course forever, and it’s up to us
to play our part in keeping Britain shipshape – no matter what’s to come.
So it’s time we showed not what we can do but what we are doing to make a difference.
The Northern Housing Awards recognises the achievements of those who are doing just that,
for their communities, for the North, for the country as a whole – it’s in our northern soul!
